Praise be Jesus Christ!

Now and forever.

As we prepare to celebrate the feast of our patron saint, Francis Xavier, on December 3rd, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of his inspiring Christian virtues. Saint Francis was known for his deep faith and commitment to spreading the Gospel.

COURAGE: Francis bravely ventured into unknown territories, facing dangers with perseverance fueled by his love for Christ.

SELFLESSNESS: He abandoned a worldly career to dedicate himself to God and the Church, reflecting a profound commitment to his calling.

JOY IN SERVICE: His joy in evangelization and serving others showcased his deep faith and love for God, inspiring contemporary missionaries and believers.

PARISH UPDATES:

I wish to share some news about clergy personnel changes with you. Starting December 1, 2024, we will warmly welcome Father Favin Alemao as our new assistant priest. Additionally, Father Thomas, currently in residence, has been confirmed as my new associate pastor, effective December 1, 2024.

Also, I want to inform you that our current associate, Father Eduardo Lopez has been appointed as the new airport chaplain, and thus has completed his time as our associate pastor.  While he will remain in residence at SFX, he will be relieved of his pastoral duties at the parish. We are extremely grateful to Father Ed for his ministry in our parish. On December 8th after the 1:30pm Mass you are all invited to show your gratitude to Father.

As we prepare to celebrate the feast of our patron saint, Francis Xavier, I want to thank you all for your continued support of our parish and the clergy.
