AN IN-PERSON EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
This annual course at the Centro Pro Unione in Rome is designed to introduce participants to the ecumenical movement from a Catholic perspective. It will offer an historical and theological overview of the issues that divide Christians as well as the bonds that unite them. It is geared for men and women preparing for lay ministry; seminarians, priests and religious; as well as ecumenical officers, and teachers. For qualifying graduate students, this course is “recognized and endorsed” by the Graduate Theological Foundation (USA) which can grant up to 6 graduate credits. This is an opportunity for formation on an important “mark” of the Church to equip participants to promote with confidence the Catholic understanding of the unity willed by Jesus Christ for the Church.
