St. Francis Xavier Parish, Mississauga Silver Jubilee LOGO Design Contest

St. Francis Xavier Parish, Mississauga Catholic Church will be celebrating its Silver Jubilee anniversary in 2024. To inaugurate the upcoming celebrations, there will be a contest to find a logo that will symbolize the uniqueness of the parish and its mission through the years. The theme is A Place of Joy - A People of Hope. 

Showcase your talent and enter the St Francis Xavier Parish Silver Jubilee Logo Design Contest.  The logo may be used online, in print, shared on social media and on merchandise and printed materials. We want the logo that celebrates this historic event while celebrating all that we achieved. The designer of the winning logo will receive a $250 Gift Certificate. 

Guidelines for the logo:

• There is no age requirement.
• Submission is due December 30th, 2023.
• All entries must incorporate: St. Francis Xavier, Mississauga Catholic Church with or near the logo.
• Incorporate ONE of the following also with the design:

                          a)    25 years           b) 1999 – 2024              c) Silver Jubilee Celebration

• Design can be in color. You can include the colors used in the original church logo. They are purple and gold.
• You must use our church logo or incorporate elements of it within your design. 
• Design size should be in JPG, PNG, or PDF format no larger than 8×10, or smaller than 5×7.
• Include your name, address, phone number and email address with your submission on a separate piece of paper.

The winning entry will be selected by a panel of judges. Their decision will be final and no further correspondence shall be entered into. Entries will be judged on their visual appeal and adherence to the theme. No entrant’s names will be added while judging. The winner will be awarded a $250.00 gift certificate and will be notified via email by January 6th, 2024.

*Winning logo becomes the property of St. Francis Xavier, Mississauga Catholic Church to be used to promote outreach for the Silver Jubilee Celebration and future endeavours.
