Altar Ordinary Time Colours

A Note from Our Pastor

Posted : Jan-31-2023

My dear brothers and sisters,

This is after two years we are publishing our parish bulletin. It may be a nostalgic feeling for some veteran parishioners to have the parish bulletin in your hands again; but for some new members, it maybe a new item to explore. In any case, our parish bulletin has been re-structured. In this new format, you are directly accessible to all ministries and organizations, while maintaining the privacy of the individual team lead. Our patron Saint St. Francis Xavier has become the face of our bulletin. Thanks to Katherine Gomez, our new office assistant for developing this new format.

Ministries and organizations are welcome to share your programs and activities through this media. Your material may be edited based on space availability or constraints. Please send your printable matter at least a week in advance to the attention of Katherine Gomez.

If you wish to promote your business or services through the parish bulletin, you may need to contact the liturgical publication, whose contact information is on the last page of the bulletin. The parish only formats the content of the first, second, and third pages of the bulletin. We send this to the publishing company called Liturgical Publication. Liturgical Publication then prints and delivers them free of charge. To cover the cost, they charge an advertising fee to all businesses that advertise on the back page of the bulletin. Therefore, please support them.

I will try to share our pastoral initiatives, vision, and challenges through this column, as time permits.

Wishing you all a happy reading,

Fr. James Cherickal
